ISO certification
With the exception of ISO 9000 and
ISO 14000, the vast majority of ISO standards are highly specific. They
are documented agreements containing technical specifications or other
precise criteria to be used consistently as rules, guidelines, or
definitions of characteristics to ensure that materials, products,
processes and services are fit for their purpose.
Both ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 are
known as generic management system standards.
